Leigha M. Lynch, Ph.D.

I am a postdoctoral research associate in the department of Neuroscience at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. I study the morphological and genetic evolution of living and extinct carnivorans to determine how these unique species have adapted to their dynamic environments.

I use an array of techniques in my research including:

  • Modern and ancient DNA methods

  • 3D imaging

  • Geometric morphometrics

  • Phylogenetic comparative methods

  • Twitter - Grey Circle
